This
year I participated on Call to Action day with the Art Therapy Freshman Seminar class. I
volunteered to work with third graders from Roosevelt Elementary to produce art. I specifically worked at a station that helped kids
make bracelets and necklaces. I gave kids compliments and
praised their artwork. It made me happy to see someone else
happy for their work I was recognizing. This one little boy was quiet and
timid while working on his necklace and when he was done, I made a big deal about his necklace and he smiled really huge. I loved the experience and would defintley do it again.
